Trial & Error Learning

To learn anything, you need to be open about criticism or feedback. Test yourself, speak and write in English as much as you can. You may have not written or spoken something correctly which means you will be corrected. It is much easier to learn that way. You get to know where you are making mistakes and improve accordingly.  A person is less likely to make the same mistakes again. So don’t be embarrassed when your English is corrected, thank them and make a mental or written note too.

Read Better English

Written English is more likely to be grammatically correct than spoken as it’s mostly proofread before being published. The newspaper is the best source to learn English. Why you may ask?

  1. Enough Content
  2. New Pages To Read Every day
  3. English Experts Write & Approve The Content
  4. Vocabulary
  5. Knowledge

So you see a newspaper a day, keeps your English grammar skills on a raise!

Let’s Learn

To improve, we must learn from mistakes. So let’s take a look at some common mistake and correct them today.

  •  I and Me Aren’t Interchangeable: “I” serve as a subject while “Me” serves as an object.
  •  An apostrophe can change the whole meaning. Like You and You’re are often confused but “You’re” = You are. Other words that people may confuse and interchange due to apostrophe are: They, They’re & Their.
  • Abbreviation: They can be really convenient or they can be really confusing. For example, i.e. nd e.g are often confused. “i.e.” means ‘that is’ while “e.g.” means ‘For Example’
  • Adjective Order: Using more than one adjective to describe a noun, these adjectives need to go in a certain order in the sentence. Adjective order is 1. quantity or number 2. quality or opinion 3. size 4. shape 5. age 6. colour 7. nationality 8. material.
