How to answer Reorder paragraph

Under the reading sections, there are many questions and one of them is reordering the paragraph. The main skill assessed here is reading while the subskills tested include Identifying the topic, theme or main ideas; identifying supporting points or examples; identifying the relationships between sentences and paragraphs; understanding academic vocabulary; understanding the difference between connotation and denotation and many more.

Re-order paragraph requires a proper arrangement of written text. There are two columns opposite to each other; in one column, is a written passage of 150 words placed in random order and the other column is empty. The test taker has to arrange the written sentences to make a sound paragraph by dragging the text into the empty column.

 

The important key skill is for the test taker to understand the logic of sentences and to make a paragraph or passage that has logic and is coherent.  Reorder paragraph doesn’t contribute any marks towards the enabling skills.
